If you can’t stay away from the snow, head to one of the summer glaciers ski areas in the French Alps.

Val d'Isère 
NEW - Thanks to the exceptionnal snow conditions this season, part of the Bellevarde ski area will open for summer skiing this year! In addition to the Pissaillas glacier area, Val d'Isere will offer summer skiing one the Bellevarde slopes from 3 June. A first ever for the resort! The Funival and TSD Marmottes will give skiers access to the 'OK World Cup Downhill' and less demanding'Verte' slope. The area should be open for at least two weeks - conditions permitting. The glacier area will stay open until 13 July.

Tignes
20km of lift-served slopes for all levels including a terrain park on the Grande Motte glacier at Tignes. The glacier is accessed by the funicular from Val Claret, which takes around 7 minutes.

Les Deux Alpes
The largest skiable glacier in the French Alps, Les Deux Alpes, offers up a total of 11 runs (nine blue, one green and one red) served by 17 lifts as well as a massive freestyle area.
