Les Arcs - New Club Med resort - Opening December 2018
Club Med Les Arcs Panorama will open its doors for winter 2018/19 in the Les Arcs 1600 ski station. It will have direct access to 425km of slopes in the Paradiski domain, the world’s fifth largest ski area, offering both pine forest runs and high-altitude slopes. The resort will have 410 rooms, 24 luxury suites, a spa with an indoor and outdoor pool, gym, three restaurants and three bars with a total of 1,050 beds open in winter and summer.

Tignes & Les Saisies - New MMV resort - Opening December 2018
MMV group, the club holiday specialist, is opening two new resorts in Tignes and Les Saisies ready for the 2018/19 winter season. The residences will offer comfortable appartments and high end facilities including a spa area, dedicated Kids club, restaurant and ski rental shop. 

La Rosière - Expansion of ski area - Opening December 2018
La Rosière, part of the international Espace San Bernardo ski area, is spending 15 million Euros on expanding the ski area.The new ski area, Mont-Valaisan, will open for the 2018/19 winter season and will include five new red runs, two new six-seater chairlifts and facilitate easy access to a vast range of off piste skiing, increasing the area’s appeal for intermediate to advanced skiers. It will also bring the total to 198km of runs and give the area a new highest point at 2800 metres, allowing some incredible views of the surrounding mountainscapes. 

La Plagne - White Pearl Lodge & Spa - Opening Christmas 2018
The 5-star development comprises of 78 luxury apartments, a reception area, a relaxation area and a spa. It is located on the slopes of the Dou du Praz in Plagne Soleil and offers a great ski-in/ski-out access to Paradiski’s huge domain.

Alpe d'Huez - Tomorrowland Winter - 13-15 March 2019 
Tomorrowland launches its first Winter edition in Alpe d'Huez taking the biggest dance music festival in the world up into the snowy Alps for 3 days of partying. The organisers hope to attract 30,000 people to the French ski resort for this inaugural Tomorrowland Winter.

Peak Retreats adds Arêches-Beaufort resort to its winter 2018/19 programme
The French Alps specialist, is the first mainstream UK operator to add the authentice resort of Arêches-Beaufort to its programme. Known for its eponymous cheese, Beaufort is a traditional village resort in the heart of the Savoie, just 20km from the town of Albertville. Future news

France will host the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships
Courchevel and Méribel have been selected to host the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships. It is first time since 2009 that France will host the Championships, last held in Val d’Isere. Courchevel and Méribel are Olympic sites that regularly host men’s and ladies’ Audi FIS World Cup races.
